Milwaukee® Shockwave Impact Duty™ ECX® Driver Bits are engineered for extreme durability and up to 10x life. ECX® Driver Bits are a combination of Phililps, Square Recess and Slotted tips designed for superior grip to eliminate rounding out fastener heads. Made from proprietary steel and heat treated to control hardness, the Shockwave Impact Duty™ ECX® Driver Bits feature an innovatively designed geometric shock absorption zone to extend life. The forged tip allows for a secure grip and maximum contact eliminating stripping or slipping.

What is the Shockwave?
The promotions on the "Shockwave" use this p[phrase: "The Shockzone™ is optimized for for each tip type and length of driver bit to absorb peak torque and prevent breaking". (end quote). I asked the hardware expert at Ace, what do you mean it absorbs torque? Where does the shock go to? Does it slip, bend, twist. or heat? No one seems to know. If I over-torque the driver bit in setting the screw tightly will I damage the bit or the screw?

Panel bits
They work perfect with panels doesnt slip or round out screws and the bulk is perfect for getting a crew supplied with the proper tool for the proper job
