I used an old electric eel sewer machine before this with 8-16' cable lengths, so I'm comparing to that.
It's really nice not having to detach and reattach cable every 8-16', and to set up close to the drain and not have to move the machine. I'm impressed with the battery life - I do have a second battery but one charge has always been more than enough. I like the head attachment kit but the root cutter isn't very aggressive. It will get through, just takes a bit of time.
This machine is stupid heavy. The bars on the bottom make it really easy to slide, but if you plan on taking up and down stairs, I would recommend the stair climber. You really need to clean and oil the cable, otherwise it will rust quickly sitting in the drum. It's not the simplest machine to run but once you know how it's not bad. Reverse is only for unjamming the cable if it gets stuck, and should only be used briefly. Could use a label on the machine about that. Lastly, the pins inside near the cable feed sheared off when I wasn't using it very hard. I'm hoping that's covered by warranty though because I've had it less than a year and only used it a few times.

good machine
great machine, love the stair climber. We have rootered for 7 hours on a single battery.
their cutters arent tempered, they break pretty easy. Chains work great but the back side is flat and can get stuck on tees or wyes

nice drain chine ---BUT
All ready to use and found out you can only use a few blades on machine, It doesn't have female to male end to use my brass holders so I can use my 13 other blades. As you know it takes many sizes to open drains. Hopefully they will fix this problem. Or it will have limit use.would like to find a answer for this. My cable is 3/4 Milwaukee 48-53-2450
